Ray-Ding Heavy Industries is a personal archive of things I build, modify, study, and occasionally spend far too much time on.
The projects here cover a fairly loose range of interests: scale models, electronics, embedded systems, microcontrollers, mechanical projects, and whatever else seems interesting enough to make. Some are carefully planned; others begin with curiosity and become projects somewhere along the way.
RDHI itself started when I was 19. At the time, giving all of these unrelated projects the identity of an enormous fictional industrial corporation seemed entirely reasonable. The fictional company gradually acquired factories, research institutes, subsidiaries, spacecraft, defense systems, and an alarming amount of corporate history.
I am older now.
The name stayed.
Today, RDHI is simply a place to keep the things I have made and the things I am still learning to make. The old lore remains part of the site's history—perhaps best preserved at a respectful distance.
